We are looking for a motivated IT Engineer to join our team in Zaventem. You will support and help build Japanese customers' IT infrastructure and network systems. This includes both remote and on-site technical support, as well as direct communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure reliable, secure systems. ResponsibilitiesSupport, maintain, and improve IT and network infrastructure (local/cloud)Provide remote and on-site technical support for Hardware, software, and network issuesCommunicate directly with customers and ensure excellent service deliveryAssist in system deployment, upgrades, and new technology implementationMonitor performance, apply security measures, and conduct preventive maintenanceDocument procedures, configurations, and technical updatesSupport Sales and project teams with technical insights when needed RequirementsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Around 3 years of experience in IT system administration or support (entry-level applicants also considered)Good understanding of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and basic network conceptsExperience with PC setup, software installation, and basic troubleshootingExperience with routers/switches (e.G., Cisco) is a plusExperience with Firewalls (e.G., FortiGate, Palo Alto) is a plusCloud experience (AWS, Azure) is a plusFamiliarity with server racks, cabling, and power setup is an advantageProficient in English and JapaneseStrong communication skills and willingness to learnAble to visit customer sites when neededReside in BelgiumValid driver's licenseAvailable for on-call and weekend support
