Position Summary:
The goal of the Senior Associate Consultant is to support the implementation of projects, the preparation of proposals, and contribute to the development of our activities in Belgium. The role includes a variety of tasks such as business prospecting, thematic research, data analysis, and preparing deliverables relating to greenhouse gas inventories and sustainability management and strategy.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
* Support the preparation of deliverables for corporate clients on topics such as GHG accounting, emissions and sustainability management and decarbonization strategy
* Creation and delivery of business development materials including proposals Collaborate with project managers to support client projects including preparation and delivery of client presentations
* Support delivery of technical and administrative projects to support the growth of the company
* Ensure tasks and projects are delivered on time and within allocated budget
* Advance development of specialised skills, tools, knowledge, and services related to Agendi’s focus areas
Requirements:
* Masters level university degree in a subject emphasising environment / sustainability, e.g., Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics or other related disciplines
* Minimum 2-3 years professional work experience ideally in a sustainability related field
* Relevant knowledge of emissions management and sustainability reporting directives (CSRD, EU taxonomy, Climate risk assessment, Double materiality, TCFD, etc.)
* Ability to conduct research tasks, analyse and summarize data to high standards
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills
* Strong writing skills, with the ability to create high-quality written documents (proposals and deliverables), experience delivering PowerPoint decks beneficial
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate to clients and other external stakeholders, representing the company to the highest standard
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to work independently, and collaboratively
* Competent prioritisation and time management skills
* Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of proficient French preferable too
* Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter
