About the Position
We are looking for a Fashion Designer – Onboard Experience to join our Customer Experience & Innovation team in Madrid.
This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong background in the fashion industry, who can bring fresh, trend-led, and consumer-inspired ideas into product development for the airline sector. We are seeking someone who combines strong aesthetic judgment with commercial awareness, material knowledge, and the ability to translate concepts into products that are both innovative and operationally viable.
The successful candidate will help shape onboard collections and product concepts across multiple categories, bringing an out-of-the-box perspective that elevates the passenger experience while aligning with customer needs, brand identity, and production requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop creative concepts for onboard product projects across different categories, with a strong focus on design, materials, trends, and customer experience.
· Bring insights from the fashion industry to inspire innovative, relevant, and differentiated product proposals for airline clients.
· Translate creative ideas into commercially viable products, balancing aesthetics, functionality, customer requirements, and operational constraints.
· Manage design projects from concept to final delivery, in coordination with the Customer Experience & Innovation leadership and Sales team.
· Create mood boards, concept narratives, sketches, line drawings, technical artwork, and presentation materials to support development and customer proposals.
· Select and propose materials, finishes, colors, and design details that enhance the passenger experience and reflect market trends.
· Prepare clear and visually compelling 2D, graphic, and 3D presentations.
· Produce final artwork and design documentation for production purposes.
· Collaborate closely with Procurement, Business Development, Quality, and other internal teams to ensure timelines, feasibility, and customer expectations are met.
· Review and support other designers’ work when required, helping maintain a high creative standard across projects.
· Contribute to Kaelis brand consistency across design and marketing-related materials.
· Stay up to date with trends, tools, and innovations in fashion, design, materials, and AI-enabled creative processes.
· Support leadership in strategic and creative initiatives related to product development and innovation.
