Join us as Local Security Officer. This position will be based at our Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Transinne, a village in the Belgian municipality of Libin.
As part of this journey, you will support both Starion Group and Nexova Group, two sister companies that are managed centrally under one leadership and corporate service teams. While you will be hired by the Nexova Group entity, you will directly contribute to the activities of both companies.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
* Developing, maintaining and implementing all the security documentation required in collaboration with the Operations Director.
* Developing, implementing and controlling the access rights (badge and biometric systems) for all staff and visitors, including the different security zones.
* Implementing and exercising the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and all related activities, including facility clearance, asset management, inspections and monitoring.
* Maintaining the accreditation files for the physical and CIS environment.
* Deputy to the CISO for all communication and relationships with the NSA.
* Participating in the ISO27001 and NIS2 implementation.
* Developing relationships with cybersecurity-related authorities and communities
* Monitoring the handling and control of Classified documents and media.
* Performing security tasks related to the building and its assets.
* Being involved in cybersecurity risk assessment activities.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
* University Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Ideally, you come from a military or defence background, already performing similar tasks.
* Proven experience with corporate security procedures, policies, and execution.
* Professional experience with security aspects of CIS systems, preferably for the processing of classified information.
* Professional experience in handling classified material within a national or international environment.
* Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures.
* Experience in writing technical documentation such as policy, procedure, guidelines, etc.
* Good knowledge of ISO27001 and aware of the NIS2 directive.
* Able to work on-site in our office and have the capacity to be available for any emergency or security incidents.
* Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
* Solution-oriented mindset, with a customer-focused communication skill.
* Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is an asset.
