Role Purpose
As an Accountant, you play a key role in the financial and accounting management of the non-profit organization (ASBL) and its subsidiary, Curbstone Group. You work closely with the finance management team and actively contribute to the reliability of financial information.
Your responsibilities include in particular:
• Full responsibility for the general and analytical accounting of the Curbstone company
• Entry and verification of supplier and customer invoices
• Management of bank accounts and cash flow operations
• Preparation and monitoring of VAT returns and other tax obligations
• Participation in monthly and annual closings
• Preparation of annual accounts and support during audits
• Budget monitoring and ad hoc financial analyses
• Continuous improvement of internal accounting procedures
Your Profile
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Education in accounting (Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience)
• Good knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax legislation
• Excellent command of common IT tools (Excel, accounting software)
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while also enjoying teamwork
• Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality
• Proficiency in French and English is required; knowledge of Dutch is an asset
