Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, safety-driven professional to operate a CO₂ capture pilot plant located on an industrial site. The role involves the day-to-day supervision, operation, and maintenance of the pilot installation in accordance with defined experimental programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor the CO₂ capture pilot unit through the process control system (HMI), in line with the experimental test plan
* Tune and optimize PID controllers when required
* Analyze and interpret daily operational data and test results
* Perform routine operation and maintenance activities, including:
* Visual inspections
* Calibration of analyzers and instrumentation
* Waste handling and management
* Replacement of filters and consumables
* Coordinate and supervise maintenance interventions in collaboration with internal teams and external contractors when necessary
* Carry out laboratory activities such as chemical preparation and titration analyses
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Industrial Engineer in Process Chemistry or equivalent technical background
* Proven experience in an industrial or pilot-scale environment
* Experience with process control systems and strong capability in PID controller optimization
* Strong commitment to safety culture and strict adherence to procedures
* Analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented attitude, and adaptability
* Knowledge of Dutch and English is highly appreciated
