Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in orthopedic implants, specifically hip and knee replacement products. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, while also leading the development of sales strategies and supporting the performance and growth of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
* Partner with sales representatives to identify, engage, and convert prospective leads
* Track, document, and evaluate all sales activities and outcomes
* Develop and refine sales strategies based on detailed market and competitor analysis
* Consistently meet or exceed growth objectives while aligning with company policies and compliance standards
* Formulate and review monthly action plans to achieve budgeted sales goals
* Plan and implement promotional initiatives, CRM activities, and marketing strategies to drive sales performance
* Analyze territory potential and adapt strategies in response to market dynamics and competitor actions
* Identify, profile, and onboard new healthcare professionals in line with business priorities
* Collaborate with institutional and government sales teams to ensure product availability and generate demand
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and business influencers through regular scientific engagements and territory coverage
* Proactively follow up with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction, coordinating cross-functionally for timely solutions
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field (preferred)
* Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in orthopedic hip and knee replacement/implant products
* Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in the orthopedic hip and knee segment is required
* Strong decision-making, leadership, and financial acumen
* Proficient in the regional language (written and spoken), with intermediate proficiency in English
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight occasionally, based on business needs
