Your mission
Analyze relationships between renewable energy forecasts, pricing signals, market behavior, and system imbalances
Develop methods to quantify implicit flexibility using data science, Machine Learning, and statistical tools
Track and evaluate how energy usage patterns respond to imbalance prices
Combine data from various sources (Hardware availability, behavioral responsiveness, and observed energy consumption) to build a full picture of system flexibility
Communicate findings and recommendations across departments
You may also contribute to other data science initiatives within the team.
Your profile
Technical & Analytical Skills
At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist with strong Python expertise (5+ years)
Solid grasp of Machine Learning and statistical methods
Strong ability to turn business questions into quantitative models
Experience working with large datasets
Domain Knowledge: Understanding of energy systems or electricity markets is strongly preferred
Other Skills:
Able to balance operational and conceptual work
Excellent organizational skills and proactive mindset
Strong communication style, fluent in English (Dutch/French is a plus)
