🚨 Freelance Opportunity – Mechanical Piping Designer / Engineer (Inventor + Point Clouds) 🚨

We’re supporting a major industrial project in food processing and are urgently looking for 2–3 experienced Mechanical Piping Designers / Engineers to join a high-performing on-site team.
This is a fast-paced contract role (2–3 months initially, with strong extension potential) where you’ll play a key role in delivering a complex gas extraction installation.
🔧 The Project
You’ll be working on a large-scale industrial installation involving:
* Solvent-based processing systems
* Separation and recovery systems
* Integration of new equipment into existing infrastructure
* Detailed piping and ducting design within an active site
This project is already in the execution phase, with installation and dismantling underway—so immediate impact is critical.
⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and model piping & ducting systems using Autodesk Inventor
* Work with point cloud / 3D scan data to integrate designs into existing environments
* Collaborate closely with an on-site engineering team
* Deliver accurate, buildable designs to support installation
🧠What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor
* Hands-on experience working with point cloud / 3D scan data
* Background in piping and ducting design
Nice to have:
* Sheet metal design
* Autodesk Plant 3D
* Dutch language (English required)
