What you'll be doing:
As an IT Business Analyst within the Solution Delivery team, you will serve as a vital link between business needs and IT solutions. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the application lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal teams to deliver and maintain high-quality technology solutions that support the company's strategic goals as a SPOC.
Your daily tasks as an IT Business Analyst include:
* Managing the delivery of Business As Usual (BAU) activities, including corrective and evolutive maintenance.
* Acting as an IT owner to monitor applications, identify issues, and communicate with departments such as IT OPS and IT architects to develop and implement new solutions.
* Reporting on service levels (SLAs) to European IT Management and business stakeholders.
* Planning and executing IT refresh roadmaps within your functional perimeter.
* Assessing business demands, including technology options, workload, and budget considerations.
* Implementing continuous improvement initiatives by defining KPIs to measure solution performance.
* Collaborating with project leaders and other business analysts to ensure successful deployment of new solutions.
* Promoting operational synergies and process optimizations across regional teams and within the application landscape.
* Participating actively in the regional IT community to share best practices and adopt new standards.
* Ensuring that penetration tests and disaster recovery tests are effectively planned and executed, maintaining up-to-date documentation and compliance.
Your responsibilities as SPOC:
* Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and primary interface between the IT department and business stakeholders
* Serve as the visible face of the IT Solution Delivery and Quality Of Service departments, representing technical capabilities and solutions to business teams
* Coordinate and streamline IT Solution Delivery communications towards internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and clarity
* Your interpersonal skills:
* Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and the other way around
* Enhance business needs into more concrete technical requirements for the IT Solution Delivery Team
* Actively engage with business teams through regular meetings, workshops, and informal interactions
* Show strong presence and availability to address business concerns and questions promptly
* Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
What you'll bring:
Must-have skills and experience:
* At least 3 years of experience in business requirements analysis.
* At least 5 years of experience in IT management, including project delivery and operational support.
* Proven experience in managing applications and IT solutions, with a focus on problem detection and resolution.
* Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
* Knowledge of software development is a big plus
Nice-to-have skills:
* Familiarity with international projects involving local and offshore teams.
* Strong technical background with knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
