Job Description
Overview
The Global Key User (GKU) for Warehouse Management is responsible for ensuring that warehouse management solutions (ERP) effectively and efficiently support our Client's warehouse management business processes, as defined by the process owners and business architect. You are tasked with facilitating the Local Key Users in articulating and formalizing their regional requirements while ensuring alignment with harmonized global processes. To achieve its objectives, this function will have partner and collaborate with multiple X functional functions including Digital Technology and may have to manage external professionals.
Responsibilities
1. Engage and collaborate closely with internal Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments, cross-functional teams including DT to meet his/her goals.
2. In project and RUN, the business solution expert is more specifically responsible for:
* Solution Identification: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas where SAP functionalities can improve maintenance processes, data management, and decision-making.
* Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business users to gather and document requirements for change requests.
* Solution Design: Collaborate with IT Solution Experts to design the SAP solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and integration with existing systems.
* Implementation and Integration: Oversee the implementation of SAP Change Requests, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing systems and processes.
* Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, ensuring the reliability and performance of SAP solutions before deployment.
* User Training: Work with Key Users to provide training and support to End-Users to ensure a smooth transition to new functionalities, ensuring solution adoption.
* Change Management: Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions among manufacturing teams.
* Documentation: Maintain documentation of solution specifications, user guides, and best practices as defined in Computerized System Validation procedure at UCB.
3. In RUN, this function oversees the operational solution performance and effectively contributes in Application Management (Incident – 2nd line level, change request initiation & approval, service performance monitoring).
Typical Day

Requirements
Must
* Master degree, 3–8 years (“medior” profile preferred), but open to senior profiles if they fit the requirements. 5–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is ideal.
* Must be able to effectively interact with and influence internal and external stakeholders in a global setting; communication in English (write/speak) is a must.
* Must have the ability to manage projects/activities across global geographies within the area of expertise.
* Must be capable of leading and motivating teams and demonstrate professional maturity in difficult situations. Must set challenging objectives for self and others and drive for results.
* Must be able to defend quality and standardization of the processes.
* Must have the ability to identify risks and propose corrective actions within areas of expertise. Also demonstrates initiative and the ability to help others solve problems in a creative and practical way.
* Must be self-driven, result-oriented with a positive outlook.
* Solid experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM).
* Proven participation in end-to-end project implementation.
* Ability to adapt quickly to complex environments.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in project management and change management.
* Ability to train users and update documentation.
* Rigor and organizational skills.
