As a Mechanical Solutions Expert, you will be anintegral member of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining andoptimizing the mechanical integrity of our client's fleet. You willfocus on one of the following areas: Gearboxes, Propulsion, orother supporting systems. This role provides an excitingopportunity to tackle diverse technical challenges associated withadvanced vessels and machinery.
Main tasks andresponsibilities:
* Offer technicalsupport and expertise in one of the specialized areas (e.g.,Gearboxes, Propulsion, or other ancillarysystems)
* Contribute to the creation andexecution of maintenance strategies to improve operationalefficiency
* Participate in root cause analysisand troubleshooting of mechanical issues within yourdomain
* Support engineering projects aimed atinnovation, sustainability, and efficiencyenhancements
* Collaborate with suppliers,classification societies, and internal stakeholders to ensureadherence to industry standards

Whatdo you need to fulfil thisrole?
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degreein mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalentexperience
* Preferably 3 years of relevanttechnical engineering experience; maritime industry experience isadvantageous
* Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills combined with a practicalapproach
* Ability to work collaboratively in ateam setting and communicate effectively with diversestakeholders
* Willingness to occasionally travelto fleet locations or project sites (approximately 20% of thetime)
* Proficient in English, both spoken andwritten
