Our Production Engineering & Industrialization team develops state-of-the-art production processes and testing solutions for newly developed high-tech products. We are currently looking to strengthen our team in our HQ at Kortrijk with a Test Engineer.
As a Test Engineer, you will:
1. Be crucial in developing and automating the configuration, startup, testing, and alignment of our cutting-edge products
2. Influence Barco's future production processes and improve existing ones
3. Make architectural decisions in collaboration with colleagues across the organization
4. Work with teams worldwide to share knowledge and transfer processes between production plants
Key Responsibilities:
5. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for projector testing
6. Write and maintain software for production applications (C#)
7. Design, develop, and implement flexible, lean processes and state-of-the-art techniques and tools
8. Influence the design for manufacturability and testability to ensure cost-effective test solutions and smooth production flows
9. Collaborate closely with international R&D and industrialization teams
We are looking for a new colleague who:
10. Holds at least a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent education and experience
11. Has strong knowledge of software methodologies and practices
12. Is proficient in programming languages such as C# and Python
13. Additional skills considered a plus:
14. Optical knowledge
15. Basic machine vision knowledge and/or experience
16. Knowledge SQL
17. Lean Six Sigma knowledge
18. Is proactive, customer-focused, and motivated to work in an international context
19. Is a communicative team player fluent in English and Dutch
20. Occasional travel may be required
