We are looking for a Director Finance - CFO Advisory (with a fast track to Partner) ready to take on a challenge that goes far beyond traditional finance.
This role is for a Finance Leader : someone able to combine analytical rigor, people management, and strategic vision in an ambitious entrepreneurial environment.
Your mission
As a Director Finance - CFO Advisory, you will be at the heart of VS Consulting group’s performance. You will work directly on client engagements while building a strong sales pipeline, and coordinate and supervise the finance consulting team to support rapid, structured growth.
Main responsibilities
* Lead and execute go-to-market strategy aligned to VS Consulting CFO Advisory priorities, driving pipeline development and revenue growth.
* Serve as primary client advisor, building trusted relationships and ensuring successful delivery of consulting engagements.
* Lead and mentor VS Advisory team to deliver high-quality outcomes against client objectives.
* Evaluate and implement financial technologies to improve reporting, analytics, and automation in collaboration with VS Innovate team to promote AI & new technologies.
* Partner with client stakeholders to define scope, KPIs, and deliverables, ensuring on-time execution.
* Design and deliver end-to-end finance transformation strategies aligned to client business goals.
Profile sought
* Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in finance transformation, financial consulting, or related roles.
* Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading finance transformation projects.
* In-depth knowledge of financial processes, systems, and technologies.
* Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Business consulting skills offering concrete and specific information to help solve a problem or improve a process for a business: creative thinking; thinking conceptually and practically; collaboration; organization and time management; flexibility; curiosity.
* Fluency in English and either Dutch or French (both written and spoken).
* Comfortable leading projects and making strategic decisions
* Appetite for dynamic, demanding, and results-oriented environments
