Project Manager Digitalization Technics Freelance opportunity
Hybrid Brussels (2 days on site)
Start from May 2026 for 11 months plus possible extensions
We are looking for a Project Manager for one of our clients in Belgium in sustainable mobility. The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of IT projects from needs analysis to deployment and operational handover, ensuring:
- deadlines are met
- budget is respected
- quality of deliverables
- stakeholder engagement
Additionally, the role ensures implementation follow-up and manages change linked to new solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead IT projects using methodologies (PM² or equivalent)
- Define scope, planning, budget, and deliverables
- Maintain governance tools (planning, dashboards, reporting)
- Lead project meetings
- Manage risks and dependencies
Coordination
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Align business needs
- Ensure architectural consistency
- Participate in cross-department groups
Change Management
- Identify organizational impact
- Support user adoption
- Contribute to training plans
- Provide go-live support
Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT project management
- Strong PM skills (PMP, Prince2)
- Knowledge of change management (Prosci, ADKAR)
- Knowledge of business processes
- Transport sector experience preferred
- Multilingual: Dutch, French, English

Hybrid- Brussels (min 2 days per week on site)

Max 220 working days starting May 2026.
