We are looking for a Project Lead Statistician to join us in our Early Development Statistics team, based in any of our offices in Brussels (Belgium), Monheim (Germany), Slough (UK), or Raleigh or Atlanta (US).
About The Role
Provide strategic direction and leadership of the biometrics (statistics) team, which may focus on a Therapeutic Area, Complex Compound with multiple indications, or be an expert team in a specific area (e.g., safety, launch, pre-clinical).
Translate strategy into tactical planning, operations, and ensure quality.
Be a key member of the Development Team for one or more compounds, working closely with Development and Regulatory leads to guide and influence overall strategy.
Who You’ll Work With
You will report to the Head of Early Development Statistics.
What You’ll Do
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the biometrics team.
Translate strategy into tactical plans, oversee operations, and maintain quality standards.
Work closely with development and regulatory teams to guide overall strategy.
Ensure all biometrics team deliverables meet project requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and upskilling within the organization.
Drive transformation of the statistics operating model.
Qualifications and Skills
PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or equivalent (preferred).
Several years of experience managing global teams.
Strong knowledge of drug development across all phases.
Experience in multiple therapeutic areas (preferred).
Understanding of how functional expertise contributes to the bigger picture.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate within asset development teams.
