Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Automation Engineer to act as the on-site specialist and lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions for their European Distribution Centre hub located in Courcelles, Belgium.
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Automation, or a related field
* Minimum 4 years of experience in automation engineering, robotics, or industrial digitalisation
* Proficiency in Controls & Automation, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, OEE, and Warehouse Control Systems
* Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
* Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ-based validation plans, engineering change control, and protocol/test development
Preferred Requirements
* Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Automation, or related field
* Experience in highly automated manufacturing/distribution environments (GMP/regulatory preferred)
* Familiarity with Rockwell PLCs, industrial robotics, vision systems, and industrial data centres
* Knowledge of emerging technologies: AI/Machine Learning, AMR/AGV systems, IoT sensors, and edge computing
* Experience with data analytics tools for extracting insights from large-scale datasets
* Computer System Validation (CSV) & SDLC Documentation expertise
* Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification

Contract Duration: till Jun-2027 (with option for permanent extension)
Salary: 5.500€-6.500€ Gross Monthly.
Location: Courcelles, Belgium (onsite presence required, with up to 40% remote work possible based on business needs)
