Objective
The Sales Engineer BeNeLux will be responsible for further developing the company’s market presence within the process industry, following an internal training period and in close collaboration with the sales and calculation team.
Position in the Organisation
The Sales Engineer BeNeLux is part of the sales and calculation team and reports directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow the existing customer portfolio while identifying opportunities with new prospects and dormant accounts.
* Act as a proactive door opener, skilled in initiating contact and conducting cold calls.
* Monitor market developments and anticipate customer needs in the field of plastic piping systems to support sustainable growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to provide tailored, problem-solving solutions for diverse projects, ranging from repairs and shutdowns to expansions and new construction.
* Serve as a credible discussion partner for stakeholders at multiple levels, including buyers, engineers, team leaders, and maintenance technicians, while building a strong professional network.
* Ensure thorough project follow-up with support from the internal service team for quotations and calculations, maintaining regular presence at the office to monitor progress and deliver excellent customer service.
* Develop an annual sales plan in collaboration with the Managing Director.
* Cover the BeNeLux region while also contributing to the company’s expansion into neighbouring countries, requiring occasional short business trips abroad.

* Ensure personal safety and promote the safety of colleagues and partners.
Profile and Competencies
* Higher education level or equivalent professional experience.
* Several years of commercial experience with proven success in sustainable portfolio growth.
* Affinity with piping systems, plastic piping, or the process industry is an advantage.
* Entrepreneurial, communicative, and commercially driven self-starter with strong networking skills.
* Hands-on mentality with a dynamic, pragmatic, and team-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Dutch, English, and French is essential.
