Renewable Energy Project Engineer
You will play a critical role in helping us deliver sustainable, reliable energy solutions that contribute to global decarbonization efforts and drive innovation in the clean energy industry.
This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a clear focus on project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electromechanical systems, control systems, and automation technologies, as well as experience with project management principles and tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering activities across renewable energy projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with technical specifications.
* Support design and engineering efforts for electromechanical systems, including mechanical structures, electrical controls, sensors, and automation components.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design engineers, procurement, construction, and commissioning specialists.
* Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of renewable energy equipment and control systems.
* Develop and review project documentation such as technical drawings, specifications, risk assessments, and progress reports.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
* Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve engineering issues and facilitate smooth project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
* 3+ years of experience in project engineering or similar roles within the renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation sectors.
* Solid understanding of electromechanical systems, control systems, and automation technologies.
* Experience with project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
