ANALOG DESIGN ENGINEER - ANTWERP (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION We're currently recruiting for a talented and detail-oriented Analog Design Engineer to contribute to the development of high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits for telecommunications applications. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of critical analog functions that enable high-speed, high-reliability communication systems used in next-generation networks. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design of analog building blocks—such as amplifiers, data converters, voltage references, and filters—integrated within complex system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. These ICs are essential for enabling signal processing, data conversion, and front-end functionality in broadband, wireless, optical, or wireline telecom infrastructures. This position requires not only a deep understanding of analog circuit theory and CMOS design but also the creativity to solve challenging design problems under tight performance, power, and area constraints. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RF, digital, systems, and layout engineers, contributing to product definition, architecture decisions, and validation of silicon prototypes. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a technically rigorous environment and is eager to build innovative IC solutions that directly impact the performance of modern telecommunications networks. Key Responsibilities: Design and simulate analog and mixed-signal circuits (e.g., ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, bandgap references, LDOs, filters) for telecom system ICs. Translate system-level requirements into detailed circuit-level specifications. Perform schematic capture, pre- and post-layout simulation, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Spectre, etc.). Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure layout parasitics meet performance and area targets. Participate in design reviews, verification planning, and lab validation of silicon prototypes. Perform transistor-level and behavioral modeling as required. Interface with system engineers to optimize architecture for performance, power, and noise. Support test and characterization teams with debug, performance analysis, and tuning of first-silicon. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3 years of hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design. Strong understanding of analog circuit fundamentals (noise, matching, stability, etc.). Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, etc.). Experience in CMOS technology nodes (e.g., 65nm, 28nm or below). Familiarity with lab instrumentation for silicon validation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.). Good documentation and communication skills. The Offer: A permanent, full-time employment contract A salary & benefits package commensurate with experience Please send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on 32 (0) 3 318 00 74. As always, we are open to recommendations, so please feel free to pass this on to other suitable candidates.
