Primary tasks and responsibilitiesAs a member of the Digital Division (Division D) of the group, the Solution Architect will:Support the Onesap+ product clusters daily in defining architectures that are realizable by the different product teams.Help documenting the existing and future SAP landscape in a consistent way in line with the other architects (Business, Domain and Solution Architects).Be an advisor to other architecture disciplines in assessing (Architecture Trade-off) if SAP is a right solutionAdopt and analyze constraints, non-functional and functional requirementsConduct appropriate decomposition within the specifics of the business capability resulting in relevant Solution Building Blocks using recommended Architectural styles and patterns (based on Reference Architectures)Serve as the key link aligning all relevant stakeholders in the Product Organization, the Architecture team as well as the delivery teamDeliver Architecture Designs in accordance with Groups and guidelinesProvide designs following your experience in integration design, application architecture, and available toolsIn the design lifecycle, following the governance structures (Design Boards) for gating and decision making (using techniques such as: ADR, Atam)Technical profile requirementsThe consultant must meet the following requirements:At least 6 years of relevant experience in the position of Solution ArchitectureExperienced in applying IT Standards, such as ArchiMate, Togaf, Atam, CbamFamiliar with Architecture Modeling Languages such as ArchiMate. An experience with SparX Enterprise Architect is a big plus.At least 6 years of experience with minimum two of following SAP technologies:Knowledge concerning SAP BTP and its service portfolioKnowledge concerning SAP Integration Technologies, protocols and integration styles (process, data, event-based integration)Foundational knowledge on the LoB product offering / portfolio of SAP and how to utilize them bestFoundational knowledge on SAP Development technologies and frameworks (not to develop, but to know the difference and being able to choose the right framework for the dedicated requirement)SAP Certifications like SAP Enterprise Architect, BTP Solution Architect are appreciatedAlways keen to learn new things, share your knowledge, embrace change and learn from past experiences. Drawing on a whiteboard to facilitate a debate comes natural to you.Able to work autonomously and take initiative for engaging with people at all levelsIs result orientedHave an Agile mindset, working experience in an Agile environment is a plus.Able to work in a team and is always open for feedback from his/her peersLanguage skills:Fluent in English. Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be in English. Knowledge of this language is mandatory.The consultant will collaborate with French, Dutch and German speaking team members. Knowledge of those 3 languages, especially German, is an added value.You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch.
