Overview
The Digital Marketing Manager, Americas role is responsible for managing the execution of the digital marketing strategy to acquire and retain customers for our direct-to-consumer business, including paid and organic search, content marketing, programmatic, email, and other related online acquisition channels. This role will manage and mentor a team of digital marketing channel owners, and partner with the Regional Head of the Americas to prioritize marketing efforts. Works closely with digital media agency and vendor partners to ensure programs are running effectively and in accordance with plan. This role will report directly to the Head of Global Digital Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead digital marketing and acquisition team to execute local marketing programs to achieve the overall direct-to-consumer business objectives for the Americas.
* Adapt the global marketing strategy to local markets with consideration for unique cultures, language, competition, products and regulatory environment.
* Manage local agency and vendor relationships and vet new marketing channels.
* Work closely with digital channel owners to manage media budgets within approved acquisition ratios.
* Adopt a test and learn approach; monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements.
* Partner with creative resources to adapt global creative assets and messages to local markets, incorporating feedback, performance and key learnings from past campaigns.
* Serve as digital media subject matter expert and remain current on digital trends, advancements and best practices.
* Conduct periodic deep dive reviews of the program and present findings to key stakeholders.
* Oversee the responsibilities of direct reports, setting goals, objectives and timelines for accomplishing tasks, while providing mentorship and guidance to support skill development and career growth.
* May perform other duties, such as special projects or competitive analysis, as assigned.
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising, or related field
* Five (5) to ten (10) years of digital marketing experience with primary focus on acquisition and retention programs, and managing a team of 7 people
* Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus
* Excellent organizational, project management skills
* Creative, yet metrics and analytics driven – ability to translate analytical results into an action plan
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
* Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
* Team player with strong cross-functional skills
* Self-motivated and result-oriented
