Overview
On-Site Public Safety Support Engineer role at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial.
Location: Belgium (travel to sites around the country; must be able to move between sites). Languages: French and English mandatory; Dutch is a plus. This role involves on-site maintenance, end-user support, and participation in guard duty.
Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain HEXAGON solutions into customers' production environments.
* Provide first and second line support.
* Be involved in the guard duty service.
* Work on incident resolution and reporting; identify temporary and long-term solutions.
* Provide customers with support in the implementation and usage of HEXAGON products.
* Deliver high quality standards services.
* Maintain and develop personal effectiveness; ensure product and solution quality excellence.
* Maintain a customer satisfaction focus and meet service level agreements.
Qualifications / Education
* Minimum 5 years of experience in software maintenance (mandatory).
* Knowledge and administration of websites and services (mandatory).
* Knowledge and administration of Operating Systems (Windows Server and Desktop) (mandatory).
* Knowledge of databases MS SQL Server 2012 or higher and/or Oracle 12c or higher.
* Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
* Initiative and dynamic attitude, team player; ability to plan and carry out multiple work assignments with deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills; stress resistant.
* Languages: French and English mandatory; Dutch is a plus.
* Knowledge of the emergency world (Police, Fire Brigade, Civilian Protection…) is a plus.
* Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch, GIS, Radio, and/or Telephony software is a plus.
* Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
* Car driving license is mandatory.

To access high-security sites, you must obtain legal access authorization and demonstrate that you have no criminal record. This offer can only be made to Belgian residents. This requirement is mandatory for employment within our public security service and the Belgian police.
