Our Field Service Engineers (FSE), their knowledge, experience, methodology are key in this, but if we manage to plan them in for missions in their strength, both the Field Service Engineers as the client and all stakeholders in between, will benefit.


For reinforcing our Services department, Krones FBL is currently looking for a (f/m/x)

TECHNICAL PLANNER


Position:


As Technical Planner, you are the link between our Field Service Engineers (FSE) and our Clients. You play a crucial role in the ‘the right man / woman in the right place’, continuously communicating with additional internal stakeholders, the customer and the FSE’s.

More specifically, as Planner, with your knowledge and approach, you are able to understand the ‘real’ need of the customer and you are able to match this need within the population of Field Service Engineers in order to plan the best person on the job. On top, you will get to know in depth the competency level of the FSEs in your scope, in order to plan them as much as possible on missions where they can really have added value.


We expect from our planners:

* To strive for optimal service delivery towards the customer and work towards the realization of KPI’s such as customer satisfaction, FSE satisfaction, FSE idle time …;
* To always have an ear for the customers as well as the FSE’s and to propose how we could do better;
* To enhance transparency and hence customer and employee satisfaction by being actively involved in the (re)writing and spreading of (re)new(ed) procedures and guidelines.
* To use knowledge acquired, to understand the request from the customer or internal stakeholder, and to planify the right FSE for the job;
* To communicate timely and correctly to the relevant stakeholders (last-minute) changes, delays, …
* To be administratively & technology-wise savvy to track all communication.


Profile:


* As a Technical Planner, you have a higher education level and / or technical background combined with a relevant experience with or an interesting view on technical planning activities in a B2B environment. Experience in the industrial or food & beverage industry are an asset;
* You are diplomatic, empathetic and assertive and look forward to exploring the world of our industrial production lines;
* You are fluent in at least 2 out of 3 languages (Dutch or French, English) and/or you are able to reach an acceptable level within a few months in the third language;
* You have a higher education and/or relevant experience in dispatching, B2B customer care or highly intensive administrative roles.
* You are tech-savvy when it comes to effectively use and switch between several softwares / systems. Knowledge of tools such as SAP and/or Salesforce is a plus.
* You have experience with and like working in an environment where procedures and guidelines are key. Being involved in the rewriting or creation of procedures and guidelines, would be an asset for you.
* You are highly organized to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have strong attention to detail to ensure that information is correctly and timely passed on to as well the Field Service Engineers as the client and other internal stakeholders;
* You are an active listener with excellent communication skills, able to stay organized and to make decisions under pressure and to efficiently and accurately relay information between the different stakeholders involved.
* You understand that an optimal planning is key to customer satisfaction as well as is keeping the Field Service Engineers motivated;
* You base your decisions on sound judgement and critical thinking and – even under pressure from the client and / or internal stakeholders – you will try to keep the balance between what is best for the client and what is best for the company i.e. the Field Service Engineers / Technicians
* You are a team player and collaborating is in your DNA, whilst having a healthy dose of entrepreneurship.
