Your impact:
* Contributing to PwC’s purpose of building trust in society through transparent and high-quality audit work.
* Acting as a reliable and adaptable team member, effectively managing your day to enable smooth collaboration and timely, high-quality delivery.
* Ensuring that both financial and non-financial information accurately reflects the reality of how companies operate, empowering stakeholders, (such as shareholders, investors, supervisors, etc.) to make informed decisions.
* Identifying key risks faced by clients, including those arising from a challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, as well as emerging ESG considerations.
* Building meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure audit excellence and a positive client experience.
* Supporting audit engagements that serve a broad range of stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, regulators (e.g. NBB, FSMA), group auditors, and other key parties.
* Contributing to various reporting streams, including financial statements, regulatory reporting, and non-financial disclosures such as those required under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
* Leveraging automation and digital audit tools to increase efficiency, enabling greater focus on key risks, complexities, and value-added insights.
* Embracing hybrid working (office, client sites) and home by collaborating closely with your team and learning through practical experience, while enjoying the flexibility to manage your workload effectively.
* Learning from a diverse range of experts and specialists across IT, valuation, sustainability, tax, and actuarial services. About you
* You have a master’s degree in (applied) economics, accountancy, business economics, business engineering, civil engineering or another discipline with a relevant economic major, possibly via a second master’s degree.Your academic background should include a solid foundation in accountancy, ideally complemented by modules in financial analysis.
* You are a natural team player who takes initiative.
* You possess a critical, analytical, and open mindset, essential for delivering high-quality audit work.
* You are client-focused and an excellent communicator, able to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* You are eager to keep learning and developing professionally, with a clear ambition to grow within the financial services sector.
* You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, with a good command of English both written and spoken.
