Program and Data Specialist:
In this role, you will play a key part in the deployment of data governance at a global organization. Your mission is to drive speed and scale in unlocking the value of data by enabling our data workers to find, understand, and trust the data they need.
As a Program and Data Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the Data Catalogue and Classification Program. This involves identifying data stores to catalogue, prioritizing them in a backlog according to select priorities, raising awareness among teams responsible for the identified data stores, and ensuring that necessary efforts are made to support the program.
You will also coordinate with supporting teams onboarding necessary artefacts into the Data Catalogue, engage in workshops if specific support is needed from supporting teams, ensure validation of cataloguing activities, report progress to various management lines, and handle escalations together with the Data Governance Centre of Excellence.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a dynamic environment, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should have experience working in Agile environments, familiarity with Agile project methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and prior experience with Collibra Data Catalogue and Automatic Classification.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Engineering or equivalent in experience, with 1-3 years of working experience in a Data Governance and/or Project Management role. As a team player, you will enjoy working with people of different technical/business backgrounds and thrive in complex and evolving environments.
