What success looks like in this role:
We are looking for a motivated Security & IT Infra Consultant with a strong focus on networking to join our growing security team. You will work on impactful security projects, including large-scale encryption networks, helping customers design, qualify, build and operate secure infrastructures.
You will be involved in the full lifecycle of our solutions — from design and proof-of-concepts through testing, deployment and handover to operations. You will also act as a trusted technical advisor to customers on networking and security topics.
This role requires on-site presence in our Diegem office and lab, where you will work hands-on with hardware, test environments and security platforms. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, taking ownership, and continuously developing their expertise in networking and cybersecurity.

What You Will Do
You will play a key role in analyzing, building and testing secure network solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Network & Security Analysis
1. Reviewing customer network and security capabilities
2. Assessing and analyzing security posture
3. Mapping and analyzing data flows and processes
Lab & System Administration
4. Building Proof-of-Concept (PoC) environments
5. Set up, creatively adapt, upgrade and maintain the lab environment
Testing & Automation
6. Testing and troubleshooting new systems and architectures
7. Build and execute creative automation of the security infrastructure testing
8. Updating operational procedures and documentation
9. Build and execute automating staging and pre-provisioning processes
Deployment & Migrations
10. Supporting staging, pre-provisioning and rollout of solutions
11. Assisting and guiding customers during migrations
12. Providing higher-level support for delivered solutions
Documentation & Coordination
13. Creating and maintaining operational procedures and manuals
14. Writing activity and test reports
15. Tracking issues and following up with vendors and partners
16. Gathering and managing legal, business and technical requirements
You will be successful in this role if you have:
17. Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
18. Agile, creative thinker with a sense for detail and quality
19. Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn
20. Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Dutch and/or French; both is considered an asset
21. Must be prepared to work onsite at the office/lab in Diegem for the week
22. Knowledge of computer networking and network security
23. Some years of experience within the field
24. Eligible for EU Secret Security Clearance
25. Some experience with network infrastructure deployment and maintenance is a plus
26. Experience with Linux (CLI and network configuration)
27. Familiarity with automation tools (such as Ansible) and scripting languages (like Bash or Python) is an advantage
