BEA Sensors Europe is looking for our future Product Manage r for our Pedestrian Entrance Sensors (PES) segment in our different European markets. This position is based in Belgium (Liège Science Park). Mission The Product Manager actively drives the development and management of BEA’s product portfolio. They ensure that the company offers a competitive, market-relevant, and profitable range of products. Your main responsibilities are: Product Portfolio Management & Development Analyse and understand market and industry trends to guide product development. Carry out customer visits, engage with various market stakeholders (OEMs distributors, installers, etc) to understand their expectations, needs and challenges and integrate this knowledge into the development of new products. Work closely with engineering, sales and marketing teams for the development and launch of innovative products. Product Strategy and Vision Identify new growth opportunities for BEA through new products, business models or new markets. Actively participate in strategic discussions and contribute to the development of BEA’s product strategy. Draft new products’ specifications, identify differentiating factors, formalize, and develop value propositions, and create the financial model. Interdepartmental Collaboration and Leadership Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful product design, development, certification, and launch. Train and Support sales teams during the commercial launch of new products. Promote a culture of innovation and encourage the development of new ideas within BEA. Your qualities & skills You hold a master’s degree in engineering (industrial or civil) You have at least 5 years in product management, preferably in the technology or industrial sector. You are fluent in English (C1), and French (C1/C2). German is an asset. You are willing to travel up to 15% of your working time. You have strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically. Team spirit is in your DNA. You have excellent communication skills (comfortable with customer interaction and the ability to simplify complex concepts). You work autonomously and manage your responsibilities with minimal supervision. You adapt easily to changing situations and demonstrate great flexibility in your approach.
