With 30 years of history, Gaming1 is one of the international leaders in land‑based and online games of chance (casino games, sports betting and poker). Its evolution at the heart of innovation has created new cutting‑edge jobs. As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Data Architect.
YOUR ROLE
The Data Architect is an autonomous, influential driver of DataMesh 2.0 – a person who takes vision, challenges it intelligently, strengthens it, and then moves it into real execution. They report directly to the Architecture Director and operate with the expectation that they own the entire data architecture lifecycle end‑to‑end. This role blends strategy with hands‑on depth: designing data products, defining federated governance, building telemetry flows, and working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineering teams to ensure delivery. The Data Architect is the person who keeps the DataMesh coherent, scalable, and constantly evolving.
YOUR PROFILE
Knowledge
Master‑level understanding of data architecture, domain‑driven data models, and data product design.
Strong experience with event‑driven pipelines, data contracts, schema evolution, and lineage.
Ability to balance governance with operational pragmatism.
Broad exposure across analytics, ML, BI, real‑time data, and platform engineering.
Leadership
Operates with high autonomy, pushing initiatives forward without direction.
Challenges and enhances architectural strategy based on technical truth, not opinion.
Provides context and architectural clarity that empowers domain teams to own data.
Influences engineering and leadership through logic, expertise, and delivery.
Business Impact
Transforms data needs into clear architectures, roadmaps, and engineering plans.
Evaluates and challenges data solutions early to prevent complexity or drift.
Drives improvements in quality, observability, data availability, and analytical velocity.
Ensures data capabilities directly support key KPIs, experimentation, and decision‑making.
Adaptability & Innovation
Self‑directed, adaptive, and able to operate effectively in fluid or evolving contexts.
Continuously improves the DataMesh structure, governance, and automation.
Brings new ideas and techniques that strengthen the organization’s analytical backbone.
Pragmatic Enterprise Architecture Skills
Skilled in modeling domains, lineage, product interfaces, and federated ownership.
Strong documentation discipline – clear, actionable, well‑argued designs.
Capable of validating assumptions with hands‑on proof‑of‑conceptions when needed.
Strategic Expectations
Fully own DataMesh 2.0 evolution, coherence, and standards.
Produce designs, drive alignment, secure prioritization, and ensure delivery.
Support teams directly during implementation – from design reviews to debugging.
Remove blockers and ensure data architecture remains scalable and sustainable.
