Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a sector-leading telecommunications organization in Belgium. The consultant will play a key role in delivering high-impact data insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making across commercial, customer, and network domains. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week on-site presence in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
* Perform advanced data analysis to support strategic initiatives.
* Build and maintain dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders.
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data exploration.
* Work closely with business, IT, and data engineering teams.
* Define KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance compliance.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
* Support data-driven transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in complex environments.
* Strong SQL skills (advanced querying, optimization).
* Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
* Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
* Experience working with large datasets.
* Ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred
* Experience in telecommunications sector.
* Experience working in regulated environments.
* Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
* Experience working in agile environments.
