What success looks like in this role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network/Security Specialist - Entry-Level with a strong interest in networking to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the deployment of cutting-edge security projects, including large-scale encryption networks for our clients.
As part of a small project team, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of network and security implementations—designing, testing, staging, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions that strengthen the security infrastructure of our partners.
We’re seeking someone with a growth mindset, eager to learn and develop into an independent contributor over time. You’ll be working onsite at our office/lab in Diegem for multiple days each week, gaining valuable experience in a collaborative and technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Network and security analysis
Review of network and security capabilities
Analysis of data flows and processes
System administration
Create Proof-of-Concept (PoC) environments
Assist in setup and administration of PoC
Day-to-day operations of the lab environment
Troubleshooting
Automation
Automation of security infrastructure testing
Automation of Staging / Pre-Provisioning
Testing
Testing and troubleshooting of new equipment
Validation of operational procedures / manuals
o Roll-out of solutions (Staging / Pre-Provisioning / Deployment)
o Assist, implement and guide migration to new solutions
o Backoffice and onsite support for migrations and delivered solutions
Documentation
o Maintain operational procedures and manuals
o Report drafting (activity report, test report…)
o Issue tracking with vendors and partners
Assists with move execution, adds and changes to security tools and platforms.
Assists with transitions, implementations, and migrations.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
1. Engineering or advanced bachelor’s degree with a focus on computer science with limited job experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Must be fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is a plus
3. Prepared to work onsite at the office/lab in Diegem for multiple days per week
4. Knowledge of computer networking
5. Notions of Linux (CLI and network configuration)
6. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
7. Some experience with network infrastructure deployment and maintenance is a plus
8. Familiarity with automation tools (such as Ansible) and scripting languages (like bash or python) is an advantage
