Position title: Sales Manager Benelux

Your mission
As a Sales Manager for the Benelux region, you will report directly to the Benelux Territory Manager at GoodWe, with a dedicated focus on Channel Sales. You will be responsible for developing, managing and expanding partnerships with key distribution channels, including wholesalers, EPC/IPP companies and strategic partners. Serving as the primary customer contact for the Benelux market, you will design and implement targeted sales strategies to grow GoodWe’s market share and strengthen our footprint in this strategic European market. Your work will be central to driving business growth, increasing revenue and establishing GoodWe as a leading brand in the solar energy industry.
In this role, you will lead the development of the channel sales strategy, aligning GoodWe’s product portfolio with the needs of the distribution network and key partners. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product management teams to ensure our solutions remain competitive and well-positioned to meet customer demand. Your core focus will be on leveraging and expanding distribution partnerships, ensuring GoodWe products are widely available and strongly represented across the PV industry.
This role is critical to establishing GoodWe as a market leader in the Benelux region by driving channel sales performance and ensuring strong product accessibility and visibility across key distribution networks. Your expertise in relationship management, deal closure and navigating the distribution ecosystem will directly shape GoodWe’s market success and significantly contribute to our growth in one of Europe’s most important solar markets.
Your main responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic channel sales plan for the Benelux region to strengthen distributor partnerships, expand market reach and drive revenue growth.
* Identify, recruit and develop new channel partners including wholesalers, installers and EPC/IPP companies, while nurturing existing relationships to maximize sales potential.
* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets by acquiring new business and deepening engagement with current partners.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide market insights for product development, pricing and channel-tailored promotional strategies.
* Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners, delivering ongoing support, product training and guidance to ensure alignment with GoodWe’s business objectives and brand positioning.
* Participate in industry events, trade fairs and conferences to enhance brand visibility, expand professional networks and monitor market trends affecting channel sales.
* Analyze distribution network performance, deliver accurate sales forecasts, and adapt strategies based on customer feedback and market dynamics to ensure sustainable growth.
Your profile
* Proven track record in Channel Sales within the solar/PV industry, with deep knowledge of distribution networks, wholesalers and strategic partnerships.
* Established professional network within the Benelux renewable energy sector, especially in the PV industry.
* Strong negotiation and sales capabilities, with a history of securing and managing high-value strategic partnerships.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
* Advanced customer relationship management skills, focused on enabling channel success and driving partner performance.
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical/commercial field; or a commercial degree with strong technical aptitude.
* Native Dutch speaker with fluent English proficiency.
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry, specifically in channel sales management (preferably with inverters or similar products).
* Strong cross-cultural competence, able to collaborate effectively within international teams and markets.
* Flexibility to travel frequently across the Benelux region and occasionally internationally.
