As
Category Manager (Raw Materials)
, you are responsible for the national procurement strategy for your category, working in close collaboration with local and Group teams.
Your mission is clear: create sustainable value by optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), securing supply and ensuring excellence in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Your daily impact
In this key role, you will:
* Define and lead the Raw Materials procurement strategy
* Analyze markets, anticipate trends and identify the best opportunities
* Lead strategic negotiations with key suppliers
* Structure and optimize a supplier panel of approximately 300 suppliers
* Translate internal needs into efficient and sustainable solutions
* Ensure compliance and efficiency of procurement processes (P2P / SAP)
What you bring
* A Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic procurement / industrial Category Management
* Strong expertise in procurement methodologies (TCO, tenders, contracts, P2P)
* High analytical skills and the ability to influence in a matrix organization
* Fluency in
Dutch and French
* Ease with SAP, MS Office and ideally BI tools
