About CERRE
The Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE) is a prestigious European think tank specialising in digital, energy, and telecommunications policies. We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Trainee to join our team for a six-month paid internship, with the possibility of extension.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in European communications and gain hands-on experience in technology, media, telecommunications, energy, and mobility policies in Europe. You will also develop essential project management skills in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Communications Trainee, you will support the communications team with various tasks, including:
* Assisting in the implementation of CERRE’s social media strategy: planning social media calendars, creating engaging visuals, writing captions, and monitoring social media performance across LinkedIn, YouTube, and Bluesky.
* Creating new digital assets such as short videos, animated graphs, infographics, and audiograms to increase engagement.
* Supporting newsletter and website content management, ensuring content is up-to-date, and analysing website performance.
* Contributing to press relations and outreach efforts.
* Maintaining accurate records and databases of contracts and correspondence.
Your Profile
* A degree in communications with a specialisation in Graphic Design/Digital Media.
* Fluency in English (C1/C2).
* Strong proficiency in MS Office, graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe XD), WordPress, video editing tools, analytics and SEO tools, and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
* EU work permit.
* Tech-savvy with a keen eye for design and detail.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
* Proactive team player with a positive attitude.
