Ph3About the Opportunity /h3 pSkyven Technologies has developed a revolutionary high-temperature heat pump that delivers industrial steam at lower cost and emissions than traditional fuel-fired boilers. Customers can deploy the system via CAPEX or through an innovative Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) model with zero upfront CAPEX and savings from day one. As Skyven expands into Europe, we are hiring an entrepreneurial-minded senior commercial leader to drive market growth. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThe VP of Sales - Europe is a senior, high-impact role whose top priority will be to scale Skyven’s commercial presence across Europe. This individual will operate with significant autonomy as a business leader, owning go-to-market strategy, market penetration, order booking, and revenue growth. /p pWorking closely with the CEO, this role combines hands‑on selling with strategic market development. The VP of Sales - Europe will originate and close complex deals, shape regional sales strategy, build partnership channels, and adapt Skyven’s commercial and technical approach to European market conditions. Over time, this role will evolve to include hiring and leading regional commercial and technical sales organizations. As the business scales and the European organization grows, the role offers the opportunity to evolve into a broader regional leadership / general manager position based on performance and mutual alignment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pbSales Leadership Business Development /b /p ul liOwn the full sales lifecycle from opportunity origination through contract execution for complex, multi-year projects. /li liStructure and negotiate commercial agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders. /li liDevelop and close a robust sales pipeline aligned with company targets. /li liDeliver forecasts, pipeline reporting, and strategic insights to executive leadership. /li /ul pbEuropean Strategy Market Development /b /p ul liTogether with the CEO, refine, improve, and execute Skyven’s European go‑to‑market and market segmentation strategy, including priority countries, industries, and customer segments. /li liFurther build out Skyven’s market presence in Europe. /li liAnalyze European energy markets, policy frameworks, incentives, and regulatory drivers to inform commercial strategy. /li liIdentify and develop strategic partnerships (e.g. engineering companies, project developers, OEMs, end users, and financial partners) to accelerate market penetration. /li /ul pbCustomer Engagement Solution-Oriented Technical Sales /b /p ul liEngage and build senior‑level relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers, articulating Skyven’s value proposition and serving as a trusted advisor for industrial decarbonization. /li liCollaborate closely with Engineering, Project Execution, and Finance teams to develop technically and commercially optimized solutions, and then communicate those solutions to customer stakeholders. /li liEnsure a strong handoff from sales to execution to support successful project delivery, and continue to support customers from a customer success / account management perspective. /li /ul pbTeam Building Organizational Growth /b /p ul liCollaborate with Engineering teams to design and recommend tailored decarbonization solutions. /li liAssess local standards and develop a database of potential execution partners. /li /ul pbMarket Intelligence Industry Presence /b /p ul liPartner with Marketing to continuously improve regional messaging, positioning, demand‑generation efforts, and market segmentation based on real-world customer feedback and market trends. /li liRepresent Skyven at industry conferences and trade shows across Europe. /li liMaintain deep awareness of competitive offerings, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs. /li /ul ul liProven commercial leadership in an industrial and technical environment. Must be an expert sales professional who can work seamlessly and pragmatically with the broader organization to close deals. /li /ul ul liDemonstrated track record of originating and closing complex, capital‑intensive industrial projects or long‑term service‑based solutions at the enterprise level. /li liHigh technical credibility, through education (e.g., Master of Science in Engineering) or equivalent industrial experience. /li li8–12 (or more) years of experience in technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles within energy, infrastructure, or industrial markets. /li liDemonstrated ability to operate independently, build markets from the ground up, and deliver results with limited local support. /li liTrack record of developing partnerships and indirect sales or channel strategies. /li liExcellent executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. /li liExperience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics. /li liWillingness to travel extensively within Europe, with some travel to USA. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience with Energy-as-a-Service, project finance, or alternative commercial models. /li liDirect experience with industrial heat, steam systems, heat pumps, rotating equipment, or adjacent decarbonization technologies. /li liStrong understanding of European energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and industrial decarbonization dynamics. /li liPrior experience building and leading regional sales teams. /li liFluency in one or more European languages is strongly preferred. /li /ul ul liCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience and regional market benchmarks. /li liPerformance‑based commission and incentive plan with uncapped earning potential. /liliMeaningful equity participation / stock options aligned with long‑term company growth. /li liFlexible working environment with autonomy in managing time and travel. /li liPaid parental leave. /li liMedical, dental, and vision coverage. /li liLocal retirement and pension benefits aligned with EU regulations. /li /ul h3Location /h3 ul liEurope-based role, candidates must reside within the European Union. /li liRole is remote.
