At Barouche, we bring the sunshine and flavour of the Mediterranean to fast-casual dining — fresh, fast, and full of heart. With 11 buzzing locations across Belgium and more on the way, we're on the lookout for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager for our team in Waasland Shopping Center .
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll lead an amazing team, create unforgettable guest experiences, and help shape the future of a growing food brand that's going places
What You'll Do
* Take co-ownership of your restaurant's performance and guest experience
* Lead, coach, and inspire your team — on the floor and behind the scenes
* Keep daily operations running smoothly and efficiently
* Keep everything in check — from stock and schedules to performance and costs — with sharp focus and precision
* Recruit, train, and grow a motivated, customer-first team
* Uphold high standards in cleanliness, safety, and food quality
* Handle feedback and complaints with a cool head and a warm heart
* Collaborate closely with your Manager
Who we're looking for
You're a natural host who loves connecting with people. Your energy, structure, and leadership make every day in the restaurant better for both guests and your team.
Some of your characteristics:
* A born host, with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
* Cool under pressure and always organized & structured
* A great communicator and true team player
* Hands-on, consistent, and passionate about hospitality
* Backed by at least 3 years of experience in the hospitality sector
