I'm partnering with a well-established, internationally backed advanced manufacturing business based in Antwerp. This is a high-visibility Financial Controller role, reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with Operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the month-end close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with group standards
* Deliver insightful management reporting, including variance analysis and KPI tracking
* Act as a business partner to plant leadership, supporting operational and strategic decisions
* Own budgeting and forecasting processes, working cross-functionally with production and supply chain
* Monitor and analyse cost performance, including standard costing, inventory, and margin analysis
* Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and reporting systems
* Support capex planning and investment analysis for plant expansion and efficiency projects
* Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with local GAAP and group reporting requirements
* Contribute to ERP optimisation and digital finance initiatives
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
* 5–10 years' experience in controlling or finance roles within manufacturing or industrial environments
* Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance
* Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
* Experience in an international or group reporting environment is highly desirable
* Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
* Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a strong advantage
* Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in an on-site, fast-paced setting
