Your Role:
* Design and model next-gen silicon photonic components and circuits
* Define PIC-based architectures for transformative tech applications
* Lead validation processes through test planning and statistical analysis
* Work cross-functionally with global teams to deliver innovative solutions
* Engage with stakeholders to align research goals and secure funding
About You:
* Ph.D. in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in silicon photonics and III-V component design/testing
* Strong background in PIC integration, EICs, RF ICs, and system-level photonic design
* Proficient in modeling tools: Photon Design, Lumerical, COMSOL, CST
* Skilled with layout tools like Tanner L-Edit and Luceda Ipkiss
* Programming experience in Python and familiarity with VPI software a plus
