Job description:
As an NVH Simulation Engineer, you will focus on virtual NVH analysis to optimize gear and system-level designs.
Your simulation expertise will directly support the development of our next-generation transmissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain NVH simulation models for hybrid eDCT transmissions (gear whine and gear mesh excitation, rattle and torsional dynamics, structure-borne and airborne noise paths).
- Perform modal, harmonic, and forced response analyses at component, subsystem, and system level.
- Correlate simulation results with test data (bench, rig, and vehicle) and drive model improvements.
- Support design optimization (gears, shafts, bearings, housings, electric motor) with NVH targets in mind.
- Support supplier technical reviews and validation activities related to NVH performance.
Profile / Requirements :
Profile:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- 3+ years of experience in NVH CAE simulation within automotive driveline or powertrain development.
- Hands-on experience with CAE tools such as MASTA, Ansa, Abaqus, Nastran, and Excite M.
- Solid understanding of vibration theory, acoustics, and signal processing.
- Strong understanding of transmission systems, gears, bearings, and rotating machinery.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and communicate technical results clearly.
