Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join its team in Wallonia.
We are seeking a Site Supervisor with strong experience in electrical, piping, and infrastructural works to oversee on-site activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, and manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for electrical, piping, and infrastructure works
* Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes
* Monitor progress and productivity, reporting any delays or issues to the project management team
* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site engineers to ensure smooth project execution
* Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
* Interpret technical drawings and resolve any site-related discrepancies or challenges
* Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and company policies
* Maintain accurate site records including work progress, equipment usage, material deliveries, and daily manpower logs
* Attend and lead site coordination meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Assist in planning work schedules, resource allocation, and procurement of materials and tools
* Provide technical guidance and support to workers on-site
ABOUT YOU:
* Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field
* Proven experience of 5+ years in a supervisory role in construction projects, especially involving electrical, piping, and infrastructure works
* Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
* Must be willing to work on-site and adapt to project timelines
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in French and English
