Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-Day Supply Coordination: Ensure materials are available to support commercial and development production. Oversee quality control testing and daily activities related to inventory management.
* Optimization and Management: Collaborate with Development, Plants, and other Supply Chain services to optimize capacity utilization, stock levels, and deliveries. Prioritize tasks to meet service levels at the lowest total cost.
* Production Planning: Develop a reliable and feasible production plan in OMP for a 0 to 12-week horizon. Ensure the plan meets service levels, capacity utilization, and inventory targets. Adjust the plan as needed based on changing requirements.
* Capacity and Problem Solving: Work with the Supply Network Team to manage capacity availability and resolve issues.
* Evaluation and Reporting: Escalate and present critical issues to the Global Supply Chain team.
* Performance Monitoring: Track actual production and testing versus the plan. Conduct root-cause analysis and revise the production plan as necessary. Organize coordination meetings to address discrepancies.
* Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Ensure appropriate MRP runs and controls to guarantee production flexibility. Maintain targeted inventory levels.
* Coordination of Product Flows: Accelerate product flows by coordinating with Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Shipping departments.
* Inventory Management: Periodically review the ABC classification and safety stock levels (generally quarterly). Optimize service levels and inventory targets.
* Planning and Coordination Activities: Actively participate in BTO (Build to Order) Planning processes and out-of-stock management meetings. Ensure alignment of actions to meet supply targets.
