Prevention Advisor Level 2 – mobile across Dour & Comines – experience in food production – FR/NL Your new company Hays Engineering is recruiting a Prevention Advisor Level II for one of its clients active in the food production industry. The company operates two production sites located in Wallonia and is experiencing continuous growth thanks to the recent expansion of its manufacturing lines. The main site in Comines employs around 200 people, while the site in Dour has approximately 150 employees. The internal culture is industrial, pragmatic and strongly safety‑oriented, with significant on‑site presence and close collaboration with production teams. Your new role As a Prevention Advisor Level II, you are responsible for prevention and safety across both production sites. You work three days per week in Comines and two days per week in Dour. You act as the main safety reference point, maintaining daily proximity with operators and production managers. Your responsibilities include: • Following, adapting and implementing prevention plans and procedures • Supporting risk analyses, on‑site inspections and incident follow‑up • Assisting teams in applying safety best practices • Coordinating with the external prevention service • Working closely with the Plant Managers and the COO • Participating in certain meetings held at the headquarters • Ensuring regular on‑site presence to strengthen the safety culture The role is part of a reorganization aimed at harmonizing prevention across both sites. Your profile Your profile includes: • At least five years of experience in industrial production, preferably in the food sector • Possession of the Prevention Advisor Level II certificate • Strong ease on the shop floor • Knowledge of HSE tools and SAP is considered an asset • Knowledge of HACCP or IFS is an additional advantage • A pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset • Strong assertiveness, pedagogical skills and influencing abilities • Proficiency in French (minimum B2 level) and at least intermediate knowledge of Dutch (minimum B1 level) What the company offers • A permanent contract • A gross monthly salary of approximately €4,000 (depending on experience) • A salary package including a company car, meal vouchers (€9), hospitalization insurance and a group insurance plan • 20 legal days of leave and 6 RTT days, plus a collective closure in summer and at the end of the year (subject to confirmation) • A growing production environment offering future development opportunities towards a Level I Prevention Advisor role.
