Looking for a new exciting Recruiter/HR role? We have a job for you!
Excel Careers and Excel Interim provide multilingual administrative support staff to companies across all sectors, specializing in profiles such as Receptionists, Management Assistants, Executive / Personal Assistants, HR Assistants, Sales & Marketing Assistants, Office Managers, Customer Service Representatives and Digital Marketing Officers. We provide both permanent and interim contracts.

We are currently recruiting a Legal Recruiter/HR Specialist for one of our clients, an international law firm located in the center of Brussels.

Recruitment
Support end-to-end recruitment processes across EMEA, from attraction and selection through to onboarding and qualification.
Act as a key liaison for candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.
Coordinate interviews, assessment centres, vacation schemes, onboarding, and offer management.
Assist with drafting job descriptions, defining candidate criteria, and advising on recruitment strategies.
Engage and manage relationships with search firms, universities, career services, and student societies.
Promote employer branding initiatives and support graduate recruitment marketing campaigns.
Maintain consistent standards and a high-quality candidate experience across all offices.
Track candidate data and prepare recruitment metrics and reports to assess effectiveness, ROI, and diversity.
Professional Development & Talent Management
Coordinate training programmes, mentoring schemes, orientation, and integration initiatives.
Manage logistics for development programmes, including scheduling, materials, updates, and feedback tracking.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and training calendars.
Support trainee/intern lifecycle processes, including mid-seat and end-of-seat evaluations and qualification requirements.
Assist with associate evaluations, retention initiatives, and career development programmes.
Prepare reports and metrics to evaluate development initiatives and ongoing lawyer needs.
General & Operational Support
Collaborate closely with Managers, Directors, and the wider HR team to ensure aligned and seamless service delivery.
Provide regular updates and escalate matters where appropriate.
Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives and support related projects.
Assist with visa coordination for trainees, interns, and secondees where required.

Relevant experience coordinating recruitment programmes within a law firm or professional services environment.
Strong academic background.
Exceptional time management and prioritisation abilities.
Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German and/or French language skills are an advantage.
Experience working in a high-performing, international, multi-office setting.
International perspective with strong cultural awareness.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a consensus-driven environment.
Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
Strong analytical thinking, sound judgement, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
