On behalf of one of our clients, a leading international organization operating in a complex, project-driven and industrial environment, we are currently seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner.
Within a key business unit, our client delivers high-value solutions and manages large-scale operations. In this context, the role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, supporting operational teams, and ensuring robust and reliable decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the financial performance of your scope, delivering accurate, insightful, and decision-oriented analysis.
* Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Monitor the economic performance of offers, projects, contracts, and complex programs.
* Challenge financial assumptions, including cost at completion, margins, risks, and opportunities.
* Actively contribute to project reviews, business reviews, and performance reviews.
* Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of financial data and reporting.
* Provide functional oversight of industrial controlling activities, including cost tracking, industrial variances, inventory, and operational performance.
* Provide functional oversight of sales administration activities, ensuring the reliability of order intake, invoicing flows, and contract administration.
* Ensure compliance with group financial policies, internal procedures, and internal control requirements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and financial data quality.
Candidate Profile
* Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in controlling or finance.
* Proven experience in finance business partnering and financial management of complex offers and projects.
* Strong understanding of industrial controlling and sales administration processes.
* Experience in industrial, technology-driven, or complex project environments.
* Strong analytical, synthesis, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge effectively.
* Ability to work closely with operational teams and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
* Demonstrated functional leadership, autonomy, rigor, and accountability.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and good knowledge of ERP/reporting tools (SAP or Power BI is a plus).
* Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English; Dutch is an asset.
