Responsibilities

This role will involve both business development and the management of an existing customer base:

1. You will be challenged to grow our customer base, both in number and volume. Our target customers are an interesting mix of major corporate structures with local branches in Belgium and local SMEs who rely on our products to sell their products to their customer base.
2. At the same time, you will inherit an existing customer base, which you will manage in collaboration with our internal sales teams across different sites. You will be responsible for maintaining the current business while also identifying growth opportunities within this portfolio.

Qualifications

3. You have experience in the packaging space and a solid understanding of industrial sales processes.
4. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business.
5. You are communicative and outgoing.
6. You have a talent for opening doors and building new commercial relationships from scratch, while also being capable of managing long-term customer relationships.
7. You work independently, accurately and take initiative.
8. You are able to work in a matrix structure, being a team player.
9. You have a very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
10. The job is focused on Belgium (Flanders & Wallonia) but may require some travel within Europe from time to time.
