ObjectiveAs a Security Architect, you play a key role in translating the CISO’s strategic vision into robust, actionable, and future-proof technical solutions. You ensure the consistency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance of security measures across the organization, with a special focus on critical services and vital infrastructures.You contribute to a unified and resilient security architecture encompassing IT, OT, cloud, and network environments. Leveraging industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, IEC 62443, and modeling tools like ArchiMate, you help build secure, traceable, and well-governed security capabilities that support business continuity and operational resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity ArchitectureDesign, formalize, and evolve the organization’s target security architecture, integrating security from the earliest phases of project development (Security by Design, Privacy by Design).Define and maintain architectural standards, models, and principles aligned with strategic objectives.Ensure a cohesive and modular approach by integrating key security domains (e.g., network, cloud, IT/OT/IoT, ICAM, cryptography, data protection).Lead or support architecture governance processes to ensure solution alignment with the security target architecture.Risk ManagementConduct technical and architectural risk assessments on infrastructures, projects, applications (business/support), and industrial systems.Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential attack vectors; recommend tailored mitigation strategies.Maintain a consolidated, up-to-date risk landscape across domains including SAP, IT/OT/IoT, AI, identity and access management, and data flows.Standards, Compliance, and GovernanceContribute to the creation and ongoing refinement of technical security standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and frameworks (CyFun, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIST, NIS2, GDPR, etc.).Participate in governance and technical steering committees to guide decisions and maintain architectural consistency.Ensure traceability of architectural decisions and adherence to internal security standards.Liaise with regulatory or supervisory authorities as needed.Support and AdvisoryAdvise project teams, IT/OT, and business stakeholders on integrating security requirements in complex environments (e.g., SAP integrations, IT/OT convergence, cloud adoption, access management).Provide expert support during design phases, solution analysis, and procurement activities (RFI/RFP).Align key architectural components (e.g., ICAM, cryptographic services, detection and response solutions) with security objectives and the broader IT roadmap.Continuous Improvement & InnovationMonitor emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory developments to identify innovation and improvement opportunities.Propose enhancements to improve detection, response, logging, resilience, and identity/security management.Promote architectural consistency, reusability, and modeling best practices.Candidate ProfileTechnical Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within complex hybrid environments (IT, OT, IoT, Cloud, ERP).In-depth knowledge of major standards and regulations: CyFun, ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, NIS2, GDPR, CIS Controls, etc.Proven ability to define and maintain security policies, processes, and standards aligned with business and compliance requirements.Broad expertise in several of the following areas:Network architecture, segmentation, Zero Trust, Cloud SecuritySecure SAP integrationICAM (IAM, IGA, PAM, SSO, provisioning, access control)Cryptography (PKI, key management, strong authentication)XDR, SIEM, threat monitoring, auditingSecure and compliant use of AI and generative modelsArchitecture modeling tools and notations (e.g., ArchiMate)CertificationsPreferred: CISSPValued: CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, SABSA, or equivalent certifications in cybersecurity and risk management.
