Description We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Gather and analyse requirements from the business;
Advise and support the business and external IT suppliers in IT-related matters, in order to ensure full compliance with the Governance IT standards;
Close collaboration with data science, engineering, and devsecops teams to improve the coverage, accuracy, and reliability of instrumentation and monitoring;
Creation of scalable dashboards and reports, in particular using POWER BI,to support business objectives and enable data-driven decision making;
Designing architectures mostly on the cloud, in particular on Azure, but potentially also on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid) ;
Helping in designing ETL processes, using tools in accordance with the corporate catalog and in particular knowledge of Microsoft Synapse would be appreciated;
Design and development of reporting applications;
Design of data quality and performance monitoring processes;
Assistance to DevSecOps team with the deployment and configuration of the system.
Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
Excellent capacity to produce requirements document for data analytics systems;
Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
Excellent knowledge of access rights management in datawarehouse/data lake in particular, segregation of access at row level based on user roles;
Excellent knowledge of SQL and very good knowledge of Python and Apache Spark;
Good knowledge of cloud-based design. Excellent command of the English language.
