About the job
What you’ll be doing
* Lead the design and implementation of advanced machine learning models to solve high-impact business challenges
* Architect and build robust, scalable data pipelines and data-driven solutions
* Drive exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and strategic insights
* Develop and maintain complex predictive models, recommendation engines, and optimization algorithms
* Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders
* Validate, monitor, and continuously improve model performance in production environments
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business stakeholders, to ensure data quality and alignment with business goals
* Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering technical excellence within the team
* Play a strategic role in shaping Movify’s data science vision, methodologies, and best practices
* 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar advanced analytics role
* Expert proficiency in Python or R, with a strong command of data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
* Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and experience deploying models in production
* Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets in real-world environments
* Solid background in statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing, with the ability to design rigorous experiments
* Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control tools (e.g., Git)
* Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including C-level audiences
* A strategic, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Fluent in FR or NL + excellent command of English
