The Technical Lead holds a key role within a specialized application team and is responsible for the technical oversight of a portfolio of applications. The position covers both new project initiatives and the maintenance of existing systems. Close collaboration is required with developers, functional experts, business analysts, the portfolio architect, and Infrastructure & Operations teams. The Technical Lead reports to the Project Lead and ensures alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
Your role:
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the development team.
Take end-to-end technical responsibility for software systems within the application team.
Combine technical oversight with hands-on development, including coding, feature development, and bug fixing.
Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems aligned with architectural standards.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, security practices, and testing standards.
Prepare technical deliverables for releases and manage configuration change requests.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
What are we looking for?
You have extensive experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Full-Stack Developer in a .NET environment.
You have strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET (Core and recent versions).
You have proven experience with ASP.NET Web API and REST APIs.
You have experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including integration or messaging services.
You have experience with SQL Server and relational data modeling.
You apply design patterns and best practices consistently in production code.
You have experience with unit and integration testing.
You have experience working with Git and DevOps-oriented delivery environments.
You have a strong understanding of application security, including OWASP principles.
You are comfortable collaborating with analysts, architects, and infrastructure teams.
You are fluent in French or Dutch (C2), have a good working level of the other national language (B2), and a very good level of English (C1).
Nice-to-Have
Experience with Blazor.
Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar messaging platforms.
Experience with DevOps server management.
Solid understanding of networking concepts.
Prior experience in complex, enterprise or public-sector environments.
