About our Financial Due Diligence role
We're looking for a skilled professional to participate in financial due diligence assignments in the context of buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, servicing both corporate and private equity clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Identifying key risks and gaining insights into the value drivers and performance of the targeted business;
* Adding value to the transaction by transforming key findings into price adjustments;
* Analyzing and presenting financial information (i.e., Income P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statements), as well as underlying key performance drivers;
* Evaluating key valuation metrics used to bridge Enterprise and Equity value by analyzing underlying EBITDA, working capital requirements, and net (financial) debt;
* Providing insights on other (non-) financial risks and opportunities specific to the business and relevant to consider in a transaction context;
* Collaborating closely with the client's M&A team and other due diligence workstreams (legal, tax, pensions, environmental, etc.).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Master's degree and at least 2-3 years of audit experience and/or other M&A related experience;
* Strong accounting skills and knowledge of corporate finance aspects;
* Proficiency in MS Office and a keen willingness to work with data analytic tools (e.g., Power Query);
* Team-oriented skills with the ability to take ownership and work independently;
* Excellent bilingual speaking and writing skills (English and Dutch or English and French).
